Brief History:
Fresh off chart topping success with StorySide:B and co-writing the band’s #1 hit “Everything And More”, Matt Lande is at it again…HEAVEN IS WHERE was brought to life by the insatiable drive of Vocalist/Guitarist/Songwriter Matt Lande in early 2008 as the next phase in an already storied career. In forging a label partnership with Blisstunes Recording Corp in August of 2008, HEAVEN IS WHERE has been working diligently and recently wrapped up recording for their debut album “Stories From Yesterday” with Matt at the helm as both producer and front man. The album is set for an end of August 2009 release.
About The Album:
Struggle, spirituality, constant change, loss and those pure moments of hope and happiness are what inspired the debut album from HEAVEN IS WHERE titled “Stories From Yesterday”.
Delve into the high energy track “The Grave That We Lay” and you’ll find the twisted beauty and distinct horror behind what a life bending, poisonous relationship can do, while “It Was You” takes the turn into a tear provoking ballad about the most perfect love two people could find, lasting until one life ends to leave the other fulfilled with knowing they had given and received something we can all only hope for. Other featured tracks on the album include dramatic male/female duets…”Alive” and “I Was Hoping”. “This Devil Needs An Angel” is a cry for help from a bitter heart and the phrase “Stories From Yesterday” taken from the haunting tune “Walking With Ghosts” brings in the title of the album. “Stories From Yesterday” spans the realm of alternative rock music and spirituality in an exquisitely, artistic way.
